This weekend was a busy one for members of our racing group who were representing the club and flying the colors at different events . First up today we had Eoin Hickey in A3 and Martin Deevy A4 racing in Carlow at the annual Des Hanlon memorial which was an extremely challenging course this year and both men finished safe and sound. Meanwhile in Kilcullen young Conor McCormack was making his debut at veteran level and Brendan The Ghost Keenan opened his account for the year both were very competitive in their categories for the first race of the season. On the mountain bike Keith O’Sullivan starting his first race in 14 years at this discipline finished 11th in the super pro category very well done to all. Great to see the clubs colors out. Looking ahead to next weekend the Gorey 3 days kicks off and best of luck to Joe Kelly representing the club at A2 category. Finally good to see some movement on the Inter Club League with news to follow on the event this week.
