The Visit

It was a day of indulgence
as she came among us
charmed the rain clouds away
with her sunny disposition,

A she-tiger with stripey shoes
from the elite world
of competition.

She never showed a gram of impatience
as she padded along gracefully in our midst

Last evening when she was gone
the storm clouds opened
and the rain came down in bucketfuls.
