Good Afternoon,

I was wondering if you could lend your support in raising awareness of the forthcoming Triathlon event coming up in June 2011 for CLIC Sargent Children’s Cancer Charity. If you could help with promoting the event by circulating this email amongst members or perhaps add the event to your events calendar/website. I would very much appreciate your support.

Registration is now open for 70 Wild Miles, Fermanagh – Saturday 25th June 2011

70 wild miles involves cycling 47 miles, kayaking 10 miles followed by a
13 mile run – definitely not for the faint hearted! The event can be done as a solo competitor or in a team of three.  2011 will be the fifth year of the event, going on feedback from last year; this event is not to be missed if you are really up for a challenge:

“Our team all enjoyed the challenge; it was the hardest event ever and therefore the greatest satisfaction in completing it!”

“What an event, It was an incredibly strange, overwhelming & emotional moment when I realised I had actually made it!”

Each section of the challenge will begin and end at the Share Holiday Village. Staff from the Share Holiday Village will be working alongside CLIC Sargent to ensure the event runs smoothly.

CLIC Sargent are delighted to announce the 70 Wild Miles event is kindly sponsored by Chain Reaction Cycles (World’s largest online Bikestore), who are donating a ‘Vitus Razor Road Bike’ for the top fundraiser and many other fantastic prizes for top solo and team competitors.
CLIC Sargent acts as a lifeline keeping families together when the unimaginable happens.  We provide clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to children and young people with cancer and their families. If you do decide to take part you will be helping the two children or young people who are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia each week in Northern Ireland.

If you require any additional information or registration forms please do not hesitate to contact Fionnuala Savage on 02890 725780 or visit www.70wildmiles.org  and click ‘Fermanagh’
