{jcomments on}If ever that statement was proven, it was last night in Rathdowney. Hugh Gallagher, who at this stage must have more miles in the legs than the rest of us combined, put in a huge solo effort to win round 7 of the inter-club league. After doing most of the work to keep the A4/A5 group away, Hugh broke with a lap and a half of the 9.5 km circuit to take a fantastic victory.
Congratulations to Ossory CC who put on a great race, followed by tea and snacks AND a video of the night’s action.
Don’t forget the Wicklow Peaks sportive this Sunday- this is one of our own so a good turnout  from members is important. We also have racers going to Mullingar for Lakeside Wheelers ever-popular two-day event.
Best of luck to all and happy and safe cycling.{jcomments off}
