As you can see from the profile it is a relatively flat route. Only 711 meters of elevation. We have driven the route and there is nothing there thats of concern. The road to Rathangan we all know and the road from Kilcock we all know. The only concern I have is that when we leave Mullingar we join the N2 for about 7km. Its like the Naas Dual Carriageway and has a large shoulder. Might be a bit of traffic noise, in contrast to the rest of the trip.
